What Mimar stores about you, what it is used for, and how you stay in control.
In short
- You sign in with Apple. We get an account id from Apple and, if you share it, your email.
- Your prompts and uploads are sent to fal.ai to run the model you picked.
- Your uploads and generations are stored in Cloudflare R2.
- Your profile and the templates you publish are public. Your gallery, collections and likes stay private.
- Purchases go through Apple; RevenueCat confirms them. We never see your card.
- No ads, no tracking, no selling of data.
- Deleting your account in the app removes everything.
Who we are
Mimar and this website are run by Sayfa. Sayfa is responsible for your personal data. For any question or request, write to [email protected].
What we store
- Your account: the account id Sign in with Apple gives us, your email if you choose to share it (it may be an Apple private relay address), your display name and your app language.
- Your profile: your handle, name, bio and avatar. Anyone can see them, in the app and on your profile page on this website, together with your follower and following counts and the templates you publish.
- Follows: who you follow and who follows you. Signed-in users can see these lists in the app, and we tell you by notification when someone new follows you, unless you turn that off.
- Likes and collections: the models and templates you like and what you save into your collections. Collections are visible only to you; others see only how many likes a model or template has, never who liked it.
- Template statistics: when you open someone else's template in the app, we count one view, once per day, along with runs and earned credits, so its owner can see how their templates do. Owners see only numbers, never who viewed or ran their templates.
- What you make: the prompts and other inputs of each run, the files you upload, the results, and the templates you publish.
- Credits: every purchase, spend, refund and earning, so your balance is always right.
- Purchases: the product, the time and the store transaction id. Payment details stay with Apple.
- Safety: the reports you send and the people you block, and the reports others send about your profile and templates.
- Your device's notification token, if you allow notifications, so we can tell you when a run is ready.
We don't collect your location, contacts or advertising id, and the app has no ads or third-party analytics.
Where your files are
Files you upload and the results of your runs are stored in Cloudflare R2. Results are copied there as soon as a run finishes. Results and template covers are served from public, hard-to-guess links so the app can show them; a template you publish is visible to everyone, including on its page on this website. Your avatar is stored there too and is public, like the rest of your profile.
How generation works
To create something, your prompt and the files you chose are sent to fal.ai, which runs the AI model. Uploads reach fal.ai through short-lived links. fal.ai returns the result to us, and we store it in your account.
Every run passes the model's safety filter, which is always on.
Purchases
Credits are bought through Apple's In-App Purchase. RevenueCat confirms each purchase to us with your Mimar account id; we then add the credits to your account. We never receive your card or billing details.
Who processes your data
These companies process data for us, only to provide Mimar. Some are outside the European Union; transfers rely on their standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it
- Your account, profile, follows, likes, collections and what you made: as long as you keep your account.
- You can delete a run or a template at any time; it is removed from our database and storage right away.
- Encrypted database backups are kept for 30 days, then deleted. A deleted account disappears from backups within that time.
Deleting your account
In the app, go to Account → Delete account. This removes your account, profile and avatar, runs, uploads, results, templates and their statistics, follows, likes, collections and credits, revokes Mimar's access to your Apple ID, and cannot be undone. More on the account deletion page.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, and you can object to processing. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Mimar is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly serve them.
